Cookies and similar technologies
This version of the site sets no cookies and does not measure visits. There is no banner because there is nothing to accept. If measurement is added later, this policy will be updated and consent will be asked for when it is required.
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on the Trackify website. The mobile app, which is the only way to use the service, does not use browser cookies. It stores data in the device's local storage (see “Mobile app”).
Last updated: July 2026.
What are cookies?
Small files the browser stores on your device. They can remember preferences, keep a session or measure aggregated use.
Cookies we may use on the website
Technical (necessary)
- Security: protection against abuse and correct operation of the pages.
Basis: legitimate interest / performance of the service you asked for. In the EU they do not need prior consent when they are strictly necessary.
Preferences (optional)
- Language or interface settings, if they are added to the site.
Analytics (optional, if switched on)
- Aggregated metrics of visits to the marketing site (for example pages viewed). Only with your consent if they are not anonymous.
As of this version the site does not use third-party analytics cookies. This policy will be updated if any are added.
Mobile app: local storage (not cookies)
The Android/iOS app stores data on the device with local storage (for example Hive), not cookies:
| Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Session and settings | Keep the login, map preferences and reminders |
| Offline queue | Sync the shift when the connection returns |
| Shift cache | Avoid losing data with poor coverage |
You can remove this data by uninstalling the app or signing out. The app does not use advertising cookies or ad trackers.
Third-party services when maps are shown
When showing maps or searching for addresses, the app may contact:
- tile.openstreetmap.org — map tiles (no Trackify cookie of its own; see the OSM policy).
- nominatim.openstreetmap.org — address search when creating offices or projects (the search text is sent).
These requests are not cookies, but they do involve use and network data described in the Privacy policy.
Error monitoring (optional)
If the build includes Sentry, technical crash data may be sent (no marketing cookies). Detail is in the Privacy policy.
How to manage them
- Web: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you turn off technical cookies, a page may stop working properly.
- Mobile: manage permissions (location, notifications, camera) in the system settings.
